Tapi kini, tempat ini kembali meriah dengan kehadiran pelancong, terutamanya dari Kelantan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lebih daripada 40 pusat hiburan kini memeriahkan bandar sempadan ini, dengan ramai yang memilih kelab malam yang ada di hotel-hotel sekitar Golok. Ini menjadikan tempat ini sebagai destinasi hiburan yang menarik, terutama bagi warga Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amin Mat Yusof, ahli parlimen bagi daerah Golok dan Takbai, berkata rahsia populariti Golok terletak pada keselesaan yang ditawarkan oleh kelab malam di hotel-hotel ini. \u201cRamai yang datang untuk berhibur, santai, dan menikmati malam. Tapi, jangan salah anggap, tak semua yang datang terlibat dengan aktiviti negatif seperti dadah,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Namun, ketenangan Golok terganggu baru-baru ini apabila pihak berkuasa tempatan melaksanakan operasi besar-besaran di beberapa kelab malam selepas penangkapan enam warga Malaysia bersama rampasan 6,000 pil yaba di sebuah hotel. Salah seorang yang ditahan adalah penyanyi dikir barat wanita dari Kelantan, yang menyebabkan isu ini semakin hangat diperkatakan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Operasi ini sebenarnya bertujuan untuk memberi amaran keras kepada pengusaha kelab malam agar tidak membenarkan penyalahgunaan dadah di premis mereka. Amin menegaskan, \u201cJika ada dadah di premis, lesen mereka akan digantung selama lima tahun.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sejak operasi tersebut, pengunjung ke kelab-kelab malam di Golok telah menurun dengan ketara. Sebelum ini, ada kelab malam yang perlu menjalankan sistem giliran untuk menguruskan jumlah pengunjung yang ramai. Tapi kini, mereka terpaksa berdepan dengan kekurangan pelanggan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walaupun begitu, Amin mengingatkan supaya masyarakat tidak menghukum seluruh industri hiburan Golok hanya kerana segelintir kes. \u201cJangan kerana kesalahan kecil, industri besar ini dihukum.
